Entrepreneurs must submit SUP reports by March 15, 2024. Find out what responsibilities your company has.

Resulting reporting from the SUP Directive on the power Act on the obligations of entrepreneurs in the field of management of certain waste and on product charge
of 11 May 2001.

If:

  1. you operate a retail unit, a wholesale trade unit or a catering unit where they are offered disposable plastic products (beverage cups and food containers) packaging or beverages or food packaged by this entrepreneur in these products, also by means of a vending machine,
  2. you are a manufacturer or trader ordering the products listed below under your own LOGO, as well as an entrepreneur who imports, makes an intra-Community acquisition and places them on the market (food containers, packages and wraps, beverage containers up to 3 litres, beverage cups including lids and lids, lightweight plastic shopping bags artificial, wet wipes, balloons, tobacco products with filters, and sanitary napkins, tampons and tampon applicators and fishing gear containing plastics).

Product Report, packaging and waste management must be submitted to the competent Marshal's Office due on or before 15 March 2024 for the year 2023. The report must be submitted electronically using an individual account in the BDO register.

It should be supplemented:

  • Chapter III Table 4 — the entities referred to in point 1 above,
  • Chapter III Tables 5 and 6 — the entities referred to in point 2 above.

The report for 2023 covers the period from May 24 to December 31, 2023, without fees (these must be shown for the first time for 2024 in the report submitted in 2025).

Please note that you need to have a current entry in the BDO registry. In the field of SUP, this is Division II of Tables 6-9 (depending on the type of bravery conducted).

If: you are an introducer of products in beverage packaging (packaging for liquid intended for direct drinking, without having to process it, in particular for water, juice, nectar, milk, yoghurt and other drinkable milk product, alcoholic beverage, with excluding liquids which are medicinal products and foodstuffs for special medical purposes) which are single-use plastic bottles of a capacity of up to 3 litres.

  • Chapter II Table 5.5 — for the masses introduced (including their plastic caps and lids) broken down by the main component of which is polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and others,
  • Chapter II Table 5.6 — in terms of the masses introduced (including their plastic caps and lids)
  • Chapter II Table 7 point 9 — in terms of product charge. For 2023, zeros must be entered.
