Wastes Service Group appears this week at the Batteries Event 2025 in Lyon, one of the most important events of the European battery sector. The conference brings together more than a thousand participants, more than a hundred speakers and representatives of companies operating throughout the battery value chain: from manufacturing, to energy storage, to recycling and the technologies of the future.
WSG's presence in Lyon is an opportunity to present the new Battery & e-Scrap Recycling Park — an investment that is already changing the way the industry approaches the recycling and recovery of strategic raw materials. During the “Recycling & Second Life” session, Filip Gabryelewicz, Chief Business Development Officer, will present the presentation “From waste to strategic raw materials — Urban Mining and Industry 4.0 in practice”.
In his speech, Filip will focus on practical examples of the implementation of the Urban Mining concept, the use of automation and Industry 4.0 technologies and the role of modern plants in building European raw material independence. This is particularly important in the context of the growing demand for key raw materials and the intensive development of the electromobility sector.
Batteries Event is not only lectures, but also workshops, technology exhibition and space for B2B conversations, allowing to develop cooperation and exchange of experience with industry leaders. WSG takes an active part in discussions on the future of the sector, new technologies and challenges facing the European battery market.
